Hombres Verdaderos, scenic design by Madeline Nelson

Directing

In 2025, I was the director for over my dead body there’ll be a pillow fight (the sleepover play) by Claire Dettloff as part of the Arizona State University mainstage season. This was an original play written by a third year Dramatic Writing MFA student and was performed in rep with another play. My vision for this production was to show the journey of what growing up looks like, how innocence is lost or preserves, and the underance of girlhood. This production the AriZoni award for Best Overall Production in 2025.

Stage Management

In 2023 I was the Stage Manager for a production of The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh with Fresno State University Theatre.

In 2021, I was the scenic designer for one of four original short plays produced by the student-run group at California State University, Fresno. This photo shows the fully realized design in preshow lighting.

The show was titled Hombres Verdaderos written by Alexis Elisa Macedo.
